A friend asked me to give her daughter a starter sewing lesson as a birthday gift.  She also told me her husband had "permanently borrowed" her daughter's sewing kit.  So I made her a sewing kit to go with her present.



I got the idea from a picture of one floating around on Pinterest that was also in a hoop, but I designed the layout of this one myself.  And my sewing stores only had wooden hoops, so I spray painted it black.  I tried to make it as girly as possible so her husband wouldn't take it.   Grin
