I'm sure this has already been done, but does anyone have any interest in doing this sort of thing?

A simple video game swap, where any game/system/genre etc. goes?

I absolutely love love quilts, do you think an afghan is a fair trade for a quilt? I'd love to swap!

YES YES YES NOW NOW NOW  Grin

How about a... like... pick a single, slightly lesser-known game to introduce to everybody? I might be biased because I'm finishing Xenoblade Chronicles, a not-too-well-known-but-THE-BEST-Wii-game-I've-ever-played JRPG, but... it's a fun idea, don't you think?

I like that idea ^^^
Maybe it doesn't have to be a lesser known game, but just one that your partner hasn't played? Or maybe a combination of one/some they like and one/some they've never tried before?

I organized a video game swap a couple years ago.  It was really fun!  If you guys want to do this I can organize.  I was thinking sign-ups starting mid-week this week and ending on the 22nd or later.  Then send-outs would be August 31.  Let me know if you want to do the swap and if those dates work for you.  Let me know if you want it to be a small swap (3-4 points) or a large swap (6 points).  And if anyone wants to co-organize, please let me know!

As far as what's involved- basically it would be an any video game swap.  Past and present games are totally acceptable and any console (computer, Play Station, XBox, Wii, DS, PSP, Vita, etc).  Any video game, any console, any craft.  Does that sound good?

That sounds like it could be a lot of fun, but I'm not sure how well I would do with a lesser known video game. I can see myself looking for whatever game I am given and then spending all my time playing it instead of crafting!

I would be down for this!

amigurl55, my only note is that since I'm a new member (recruited by my friend Luvebuggy99), I still have to wait a couple weeks until I've been a member for a month and can participate in my first swap.  But this would be a great first one!

vincentvanbuck- I can start the swap a little later or leave the sign-ups open long enough for you to join.  Smiley

Anyone else interested?  Any notes on the dates?
