I'm doing a piece of embroidery for my boyfriend for reasons which are too complex to go into  Grin

I'd like to make it into a functional item rather than just something decorative, but can't really think of anything. I was going to make a notebook cover but I'm terrible at doing those neatly...

Any other ideas?

Thankyou!

You can embroider or cross stitch lots of things. At local craft stores you can find glasses cases, mouse pads, iPhone covers, pillow cases and lots of other things to cross stitch on. Sublime stitching has a lot of stuff to embroider on if embroidery is more your thing.

Maybe if you showed us a picture of what you have so far, or explain in more detail what you're thinking of, we can give more specific examples.
