MS Paint XP is a wonderful thing.  I LOATHE any version of MS Paint that came out after MS Paint Vista (it's basically the same as XP).  the XP version allows you to create your very own patterns using a graph that changes in size as you zoom in, whereas the 7 version has a graph that stays the same size as you zoom in.  that doesn't work for pattern making.  all of the cross stitched items you have seen on here from me (as well as some square stitched beaded items) came from patterns I made myself using MS Paint XP.

ANYWAY!  I made this picture for the Summer Nerd Games as my entry into the Pirates vs. Ninja Battle Royale.  obviously I went with the ninja theme.  Wink  Noob Saibot was originally a hidden, unplayable character in Mortal Kombat II, and was made as a cross between 2 other ninjas, Sub-Zero and Scorpion.  at the time, he was only a shadowy silhouette (he is a wraith ya know), but has now evolved into an actual humanoid being.  you can see him in action by clicking here.

Freekin' MKII!!!!!!!

AWESOME!  I can't agree more about paint either.  That's how I made my Tetris project a few years ago.

That came out really well too.  Cheesy  I remember Noob Saibot.  Cheesy  Sweet project.  Great choice of colors for the MK symbol, and the font is right on.

My friends and I used to say, "Toasty!"  whenever something really cool happened in school during junior high and high school.  Great memories.

Looking to de-stash cross stitch magazines, particularly Cross Stitch Gold or New Stitches?  Please drop me a line!  I'd love to swap or buy some missing from my library!

thank you very much!

and I wanted to let everyone know that I had someone talk me into doing a somewhat similar one of Sub-Zero.  I have the pattern all made up, now to decide on what count cloth I'm going to do it, and see how many colors of floss I need to buy.  Grin
