@TechnicolorAquahearts: You must be seeing into the beyond because August's Detention hasn't been posted yet.  Where would you like to submit your Doggie Dress Do-Over?

pinkleo is quite correct.  I have not posted August's Detention prompt yet.  And this time it will be a miscellaneous prompt, rather than a work-in-progress.  Everyone will just have to wait to find out what I've got up my sleeve for that one!  Wink
Oh thank goodness, I thought I was reading my tea leaves all wrong! Cool

I am so sorry! I was getting ahead of myself! I meant to submit that for July's detention.

Hi i am lynnieangel! Jenleahlynn is my mom and panda bear is my sister. I would like to join the ravenclaw house. I have a project for extra credit but i havent scanned it Grin. I really like drawing. I like luna lovegood and hermione. I like the first harry potter book and all the movies except the deathly hallows are kind of creepy
~*Welcome to Hogwarts lynnieangel*~  I'm sure your mom can help you find you way around the castle, but never hesitate in posting questions here in the thread. (Help can always be found at Hogwarts for those who need it.)  I can't wait to see your crafty magic!  Grin

Pinkleo         Do you have to do extra credit and the actual class. I did care of magical creatures extra credit but do i have to do care of magical creatures?

Thanks'

Extra credits are just for the House fun, not for HPC House Points, and they do not fulfill HPC Class/Challenge Prompts.  You can do your extra credits separately or mix them up with any classes/challenges. Smiley

house-gryffendor
project- it's a tiger, no lying!

I sent this in the kids swap, and was going to submit as house pride, until my daughter pointed out that it is a tiger not a lion. opps!

the watermelon challenge works well though. there is lots of yellow, red, and orange worked into the painting, and since it is the lsu tiger, i worked in some purple as well. the hard part was putting the brushes away, and deciding it was finished

Abbee, during my t-shirt quilt experience I found that wonkiness adds to the charm of it. At least that's what I told myself. If I were you I'd avoid t-shirt material for the binding because there will inevitably be some stretching. Ask Headmistress jennie, she has a wealth of quilty knowledge! Looking fab so far!

Thanks, pottermouth! I went ahead and used the squares to outline the whole top (which I'm now DONE with!! yay!). I went with store-bought bias tape for the binding in black. Everything is currently pinned together and awaiting quilting which I'm hoping to start today. I'd post a pic, but I think it will ruin the reveal of the final, lol.

Everyone is doing some awesome crafty stuff!

I'll be back for a formal sift through everything soon!
