@ Jennieingram Haha, stamps are addicting indeed, Im gave I just collect them.

@Pinkleo Your pasta salad sounds super easy and looks tasty and so colorful.
An love the colors in your granny square blanket.

@Noodle-bug  cool sock loom I havent seem one like your before and great summer colored socks. Awesome Port key idea too.

@Abbeeroad Your Breathe Prayer Flag is right on point because sometimes I dont feel like doing nothing at all and thats okay in my book.

@Audania1 Fruit salad so yummy and perfect for the summer.

@ntrebleagain your mom coworkers are so lucky to get a tasty treat before the 4th. I wish I had some cake pops now.

@TechnicolorAquahearts I love your plaques, you make me want to break out the clay and my stamps too.

@Moonflame Awesome inchies, I keep saying Im going to try to make a set but I never get around to it.

@Oath Keeper  Your shrine is so cute and tiny.

@FiberAlchemist  Grill pizza yummmm. Its just the perfect food for all seasons.

@WhistleFish Cupcake with flags are so more inviting than just cupcakes alone. So many sweets on here making my mouth water.

@AugustBell Cute and huggable Dumbledore.
I need to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ugh, I just love HPC & craftsters, so many crafty peeps. Later everyone I'm off to find something sweet to eat now. Smiley

Pinkleo: Such a cute blankie! I like the colors, too. They are so happy!

Ntrebleagain: Its too funny that you made these stands! I was thinking of making a set myself for my cousins bridal shower for treats and such lol. Yours are lovely.  Grin

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Study of Ancient Runes
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Soap sachets
Project Page Link (if available): to come
Brief Description:
I recently bought some variegated yarn I really liked, but I couldn't find the right project for it. I frogged four different projects before I made these soap sachets. This is another project inspired by my grandmother, as we received several boxes of soap bars (her cold war hoard!) which were always stuffed in her closets to keep clothes and sheets from getting a musky storage smell. Some soaps lost their paper wrappings, and then they will leave traces on your clothes, which isn't very good looking. It washes right out, but it kind of defeats the purpose. I let myself be inspired by the ancient greek glyph delta and used the delta stitch to make these two baggies. For the first bag, I misremembered how to do the stitch, and executed it with double crochets and two chain stitches instead of trebles and three chains, but I still like the effect. I wanted the bags to have plenty of holes to make sure the scent could spread well in the closet.

I will be gifting these bags to my family at our New Year's celebration. I will be making many more, some crochet, some sewn from the inevitable left overs of the nighties for my remembrance quilt, and probably some knit bags too, because I think these are good projects to try out some new techniques. I'll also be making some nostalgic crochet coat hangers, but I might just keep those for myself: I have too many dresses that are slipping off their plastic hangers!

~*COMPLETED OWL HEADER*~
OWL Subject & Option (if available):
House:
Project Name:  ACCIO NERDS!!

I have infused these welcome signs with the Accio charm to demonstrate my mastery of it Cheesy They will hoepfully attract all the visiting makers at OHM. They are based on the OMH logo. I've never done the double layer of hoops thing to get a 3D effect and am pleased with how it looks. I've also never used plastic canvas before (the drill bit on the Hack sign) and vow to never again because it looks pants!

Posting these pics, I just noticed that I put a full stop on Hack, but not the other two. fail.
