Class/Challenge/House Pride: June Detention
House:Slytherin
Project Name: Cookie Butter Truffles
Brief Description: These truffles taste so evily good that they had to come from a Slytherin  Wink They didn't heat up the kitchen at all because all they needed was a little zap in the microwave wave of the wand to melt the white chocolate. They are made with Biscoff cookie butter thickened with powdered sugar and a little piece of biscoff cookie to add a little crunch. The centers were enrobed in white chocolate with the help of a candy mold, and finally they truffles were dusted with some nutmeg and cinnamon.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Charms
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Ceramic Punk Plaque
Brief Description: I used the Defodio charm to carve designs into some clay to make this plaque
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride:Divination
House: Slytherin
Project Name:Texas Diva Ceramic Plaque
Brief Description: I had to use a powerful pyromancy spell to fire the raw clay into a finished ceramic piece. This is also what happens when you give me some clay, some stamps, and a cookie cutter shaped like Texas. It was kind of like that show Chopped where contestants are given some mystery ingredients and then they have to make something delicious out of them. Smiley
Project Picture:

Class/Challenge/House Pride:BEAN challenge: Rotten Eggs
House:Slytherin
Project Name: Help Me ceramic coaster/art piece
Brief Description: This project fits the rotten eggs bean challenge in more than one way, first of all I had to use the element of fire to create it's solid form, second of all it is made of clay which is the element of earth, and third the clay is made from elements on the periodic table such as:Silicon, Aluminum (found in the compound Bauxite), and carbon. Also the Orange and red stains I used contain Iron.

Hello again! I've got bunches more homework to turn in:

Class: Arithmancy
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Peach Tomato Salsa
Brief Description: To me, anything to do with canning is dangerously complicated. There's a lot of timing involve and hot liquids and if you could only watch me do it you'd see me running around the kitchen muttering instructions to myself the whole time. My parents tree produced 5 whole wal-mart type bags full of peaches so we had to do something with some of them.
Project Picture:

Class: DADA
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Mason Drinking Glasses
Brief Description: I was working on more wedding crafts in the dark one night and then I saw it: a Hinkypunk! With some quick thinking I managed to trap one inside of one of the jars so I could perform the Knockback Jinx!
Project Picture:

Class: Divination
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Blackberry Jam
Brief Description: I heated the jam over a very vibrant fire...I did try my hand at predicting the future. I predicted that the jam would be delicious...and it was!
Project Picture:

Class: History of Magic
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Bunting and Cupcake Flags!
Brief Description: What better to celebrate Midsummer's Day that little colorful flags for decoration! (Unfortunately, I don't have a finished picture of the bunting and it's already packed away for the wedding, but if the headmistresses need me to, I can dig them out for finished proof.)
Project Picture:

Challenge: Detention With Snape
House: Gryffindor
Project Name: Mini Chalkboard Labels
Brief Description: I've had the supplies for these forever and just now finished them. They're little chalkboard labels. We've got a ton of baby food jars and we're having little succulents in them for wedding favors, each labeled with their name. They'll be on the reception table so people will know where to sit. Smiley
Project Picture:

Whew, that's enough for now. I've been doing so much for the wedding recently I actually have a lot more crafts I've done but I can't seem to make them fit the prompts. It's okay, I'm sure I'll have more! Feels good to get my homework turned in though. Hope everyone's summer is going well! Smiley

Challenge: July Detention
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Treads
Project Link: Ravelry rides again!
Project Description:  I started these I think in May.  Undecided  My dd wanted lighter weight ones than the pattern showed, so I experimented with stitch number and sock-weight yarn, and finally got it right.  The first one went pretty quickly, but by the time I got to the second, I was kind of bored with them, so the second became my detention.  The second then sat around for a while until today, when I finally made the tipless fingers.  Ol!  I am finally done!!!

Now maybe I can *finally* get caught up on looking at all the cool projects people have been posting! Smiley

TechnicolorAquahear ts: My good, that truffle recipe sounds sublime! Since I come from the country where Biscoff cookie butter was invented and with some of the best chocolate in the world (food critic's words, not my chauvinist judgement!) I SOOO need to try this recipe! They came out really pretty looking too.

TechnicolorAquahear ts - Yes, the truffles sound soooo good! And love the punk plaque!!

Yay, WhistleFish! Love seeing all your wedding crafts. I'm starting to put a picture together in my head - looks very colorful and bright!

Moonflame - I understand your delay - after I make something the last thing I want to do is the same thing over again! The payoff is worth it though - your gloves look great!

YAY July B-days!  Planning my attack....

Can't wait to see!!

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Potions
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Breakfast Mixes
Project Page Link (if available): -
Brief Description: Here are some breakfast just-add-water mixes that will help me sleep in!  I can just get up and make pancakes or muffins, even if I feel like the living dead.  The recipes come from the Mix-A-Meal cookbook and are made up of lots of dehydrated products (dried milk/butter/eggs).  I even made one gluten free.  I've figured with these mixes I can have pancakes on the table in 11 minutes, most of that being my griddle heating up.  Great way to give the kids a filling breakfast, without all of the preservatives of store bought mixes.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: July Detention
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Dream Catcher
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=425120.msg5060059#msg5060059
Brief Description: I was making quite a few dream catchers a couple years back and got bored with it.  Found some rings at Hobby Lobby in spring on clearance thinking I'd make more, but never got around to it.  Finally finished one.  27 inches long.

so many awesome projects Cheesy I love all the ceramics stuff especially, I'm in total awe

I could no longer resist an hour in the dungeon with alan rickman snape, so I acted up in potions on purpose to land myself detention...

Challenge: July detetion
House: ravenclaw
Project: more socks...
I wanted to make these for the friend who is lending me her tent something, and ... well... socks seemed appropriate for a camping themed gift, and I started them as as soon as she told me I could stay in their tent village a few weeks ago. an then promptly ignored them.

but these last few days I've got back on it (man, these wip challenges are good for my in progress pile) and finished them up. It's Noro wool I got on sale, I love the colours Smiley

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Study of Ancient Runes - gebō or Gyfu
House: Slytherin
Project Name: Patriotic Cake Pops
Project Page Link: Inspiration from Party City. I had actually found the picture on Pinterest and just now found the how-to. We ended up going by Bakerella's Red Velvet Cake Ball Recipe because we LURVE us some red velvet!  Grin
Brief Description: Tonight I helped my mom make these cake pops for her ID4 Goodie Day at work tomorrow. I feel this fits for SoAR by showing a generous spirit.
Project Picture:

There *may* have been a few more than was needed for flag that went home with me  Roll Eyes ... That doesn't take away any points, does it?  Cheesy
