I don't like my first attempt :\

I am going to try again.

Artista - I've already been to your pinterest page as well as most of the other 'Art Doll' swappers.  Its always inspiring to me to see the various techniques and moves me from

Doll #1 Version A
hmmm.  not quite.  but keep plugging away.
Doll #1 Version B
the face looks psychotic.  dollie cut in half.  can I send the bottom half of a doll?

Doll #2 Version A
can't turn inside out.  keep trying.
Doll #2 Version B
what the heck.  just stuff with the seams showing.  hubby says, nope.
Doll #2 Version C
yep.  it's working.  hubby likes.  i like.  i want to keep.

up until Doll #2 Version C, I think, it would've been easier to buy on etsy   Huh  if I sold this dollie, I'd make less than $1 an hour.  that may be why I have soooo many incomplete projects.  But AFTER Doll #2 Version C, I am loving the process and feeling very happy.  I will complete this project way before the deadline.  Whew!

KOOKALOO - I'm excited for you and can't wait to see more photos of your masterpiece  Tongue

Sometimes not so wise Smiley

I have started - I did one part that needs to be ____________ before it can be added to body.
Still figuring out the face - have two ideas, I may try them both to see which looks better.
And searching for one more piece of fabric that will add some zing - I have way too much and I can't find what I am looking for.

I will continue to work on this week. I can't wait for dolls to arrive - I'm sure we will all love them!

Have a good week everyone.

Supplies have arrived, I just need to get to a machine for some sewing, and also figure out what to do about the .......................
I'm also a first timer, and excited but super anxious.  Need to build in time for remakes I guess.  Just in case.

Yay! Inspiration struck and my doll is under construction!

The time has come
The walrus said
To talk of many things-
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax-
Of cabbages and kings.
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.
