I got this mostly finished some time ago, but I struggled with getting the sleeves the same length.  I was finally able to finish it recently.  I made it without a pattern, just tracing off a raglan shirt I had.  It's two layers, black stretch lace lined with red cotton jersey.

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. . . . I would rather have cheese.

I agree the red with black lace is really pretty.  And kudos on not using a pattern!  That's really hard.
