I love your dress, it has so much personality and makes me happy just to look at it.  I especially love your picture with your friends as a ray of sunshine in the middle of all the black.  Great job.

Thank you very much! Yes! I built my dress so that it reflects my personality (the rainbow-ish bit of it) and so that it stands out from the typical prom dresses that everybody wore  Cheesy

Nice work!!!  I love that you dared to go rainbow when your friends were all wearing black.  You look much more awesome :-)
BTW, you totally don't need a date to have fun at dances.  Some of the best times I had at high school dances were when I went stag because I could do whatever I wanted without having to worry about someone else.  FREEDOM!! ;-)

Love it! You look fabulous! The dress is really cute and it looks like you overcame all the sewing obstacles with great success. My "prom" (my school didn't have prom, but I went to my best friend's) dress was black -  now I am super envious of your rainbow-unicorn-princess dress  Grin

You are so creative! The dress is beautiful! The colors are fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing it. I've never made myself clothing (yet) but I've done some sewing. Your posting gives me the inspiration to try. =)

Great prom dress. I'm happy you made your beautiful dress that reflects your personality and so, you were not a clone in an ocean of clones. Hurray for you!
You seem pretty good at sewing. We will likely see more of your creations in the future.
