I made these note cards for Scrapkatt and alwaysinmyroom for the Crafted Notecards Round 2 swap.

The background on the palm tree one is four different layers of paper.  The telescope one is on glittery paper and has gem stars in the sky.  On the TV card you can take out the little insert and add your own message or photo.

For these I used watercolor paints.

I did quite a few with shapes I cut on my Silhouette.

I used origami paper for a few, too.  On the second card the spine is wrapped in ribbon and the butterfly is a metal brad.

I stamped and embossed the owl...the little pineapple is a felt sticker.  I embroidered the two "hi" cards and wrapped metallic embroidery floss around paper brads on the second one.

I used paper I made for these two and added some pretty rub-ons.

I drew the green part on the first card using my Jelly Roll Souffl pens.  The border on the second is decorative fabric tape.

These two were experiments with a Martha Stewart glitter transfer kit.

And finally some crafty inspired cards.  On the pink sewing machine I wrapped embroidery floss to look like thread.

Most of the cards were lined with complimentary paper inside.

I also made a couple others that I used for Mother's Day.  You can't tell very well in the photo, but on the second one I outlined all of the flowers with Jelly Roll Glaze pens, so it looks slightly raised or embossed.

Thanks for looking!

They are all amazing.  What a great variety of techniques.  The handmade paper cards are so pretty, and the sewing machines are great.  I have never heard of jelly roll glaze pens or glitter transfer- but I will be keeping a look out for them now!
