LOL, Thanks Pinkleo.  I was starting to think there was either something wrong with my browser or my eyes.  Didn't realise people were still looking at this old post - thanks Cheesy

ha, i rediscovered this tutorial  . .. on the 2nd page i commented before I was into maille i guess . . anyway THANKS for the tutorial . . . I've been trying to figure this out for a long time and you totally helped! it starts with just helm chain really, minus a ring . . you made it a lot more clear; thanks again! On a side note, the glow in the dark rings I ordered had better get here SOON because this is the perfect project for them!

the Ring Lord!! awesomeness at its best . . . . unfortunately they are extremely expensive and wow, not nearly as strong as the rubber (the glowing ones are made of silicone) - I nicked one with an aluminum ring and it broke right away! but ya, to make a bunch of these stars for pendants, well the price doesn't seem so bad then! So lovely. I've used these stars as cell phone charms before, everyone loves them! I love that you have the two variations, I've only ever done the first.

I really want to try making a tiny pair for earrings... When I have time of course :p
