I designed this halter top to be built around an old bra.
If you're interested in the semi-heplful tutorial, it's here: http://graverobbergirl.blogspot.com/2013/05/rockabilly-tuesday-retro-halter-top.html

Very sexy! I love that you built it round a bra - gives such a great shape! Thanks for the tutorial also, it was really clear and helpful.

It's not a matter of size, but a matter of heart.

this would make an EXCELLENT swim suit top!
or even just a summer top to wear at the beach or something! Love it!

This is gorgeous!  I have similar issues with halter tops, so I really like your design.

Great work on lining up the pattern! I have a hard time keeping things in line when sewing in stripes or plaid. It looks so retro-cool on you too~  Wink

Wow this gives me an awesome idea for a few of my old bra's I kept from before I had my little girl (sadly their the kind of cheap kind that after a year the straps are all stretched out xD) I'm about to recycle some of my old shirts n things I was going to throw away along with a few of my old bra's!

Epically awesome job!! I love how cute it looks, kind of sophisticated but not trashy at the same time (nothing like what I've seen you can buy at walmart lately ha ha!!)
