Awesome...so who is going to organize? I would, but it'd be my first swap, and that's just not allowed.
Some thoughts:
Perhaps, when we do it, we should have someone say whether or not they're in the broom closet. My parents don't know, so when they see the package, I wouldn't want them to see any pentegrams or anything like that.
Also, many people said, "I'd like to join but I can't until....." We should all say just when would be a good time to start so that we can all participate.
Okay, those were just some of my thoughts.

I am not in the broom closet.  Also, can the start-ups start next week?

That's a really good point about the broom closet thing.  I didn't even think about that.   Smiley

Timing for me is...a bit funny... I'm not sure if I would even be able to do it, since I'm going off to college and all... I suppose I can have things sent to my college adress, but since it's my first year and all, I'd like to have some time to settle in before I have to figure out the mailing system.  (Not to mention I won't have my college address until mid-August.

Sign-ups next week would be awesome, but I think that might be a bit too soon for some people.  Not to mention we don't have an organizer...

I want to join, but I'm leaving saturday the 16th until tuesday the 19th, then leaving again thursday the 21st until monday, the 25th. So, can signups end sometime after the 25th?

Oh, and I am out of the broom closet, but I think my parents would still feel a little creeped out by a package with pagan symbols all over it...they still think i'm their good little Christian girl in a "phase"

yeah, one set of my parents think I'm a good little christian, my other set are atheists, and I'm pretty sure they figure I'm pagan, but they think I'm in a phase and are like, "(my given name), Are you worshiping the devil? You have all those satan star symbols around your room..." "No mom, I don't worship the devil.." lol I suppose I could always tell her it was a harry potter/fantasy swap... ^_^

I won't have money for about another week, but most things that I could make I already have the materials for...So I can sign up whenever it's good for everyone else. So next week is good for some people...what if we started sign ups next week, but had a long due date, say...two months or longer before you have to send? You could send it before, but at least everyone would have a good chance to do their crafts....

The last swap was incredibly awesome - I might be up for another one - I'll think about it until the sign-ups - I start back at seminary in August - year 2 - there are quite a few people who know I'm a witch, and they don't have  problem with it!
Anyway - it would depend on timing for me!

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

Wow, I've never done a swap before, but I'd be interested to. Not really sure what it involves, but it sounds neat anyway. I guess it'd be like swaping a pagan craft/ bunch of pagan stuff with other people. I'd love to give it a try. (I'm out of the broom closet, btw)
Er, I wouldn't be able to do it until mid-August.

Anytime after July 16th would be good for me as that will be my one month aniversary. Smiley  Also, I'm out of the broom closet.  I live alone with my son and he goes with me to everything so he wouldn't even think twice about it.  This is going to be so much fun.  Cheesy

I'd like to do this, but am not available till around mid-august. I'm half-in, half-out of the broom closet, meaning that my mum thinks that she knows something (erm, maybe my altar gave it away?) and stepdad is definately oblivious.

Though I'm not Wiccan. Just Pagan. And unsure of my path, though it's one from the native peoples of Northern America. Anyway...

In addition to the broom closet factor, we should maybe consider paths? Not really any point in sending someone a pentacle if they're not Wiccan. Or something. (It made sense in my head.)

EDIT: I realised what I meant. Like, if somebody was practicing Egyptian Wicca and was sent, I don't know, a Celtic cross. Oh, I dunno. Tell me if you know what I mean.
