So, like I said, I have a spinning wheel and access to 2 large, mean as shit, Lamas. Damn if im not gonna spin me some lama yarn! At least attempt to. ruling out a swift and smelly demise via lama spit to the brain, how should i go about preparing the fibers? should i wash the wool on the lama? or wait till its sheared off? I've never attempted to  prepare my own wool and idk much about it.

Congratulations!  What fun -- if smelly, dangerous fun!

I'm not too sure about Llama fleece.  I thought they had a double coat, with outer guard hairs that might be scratchy, and a soft undercoat.  I think I remember reading that Llama needs to be combed to remove the long guard hairs.  I'm not sure if you'd need to wash it first, or if you can just get by with shaking the dust out of it.  With alpaca you don't really need to wash it first, and I'm guessing the undercoat of Llama would be the same.  Can anyone chime in?
