Amelia 'Amy' Pond is one of my favourite companions from Doctor Who and I knew, after I made a little 11th Doctor plush, I needed to make her, too.

Oh! And her hair is NOT that fluro/eye-blinding orange colour. :/ I have photographed her twice but whenever I put any kind of lighting on her, I can't get a good picture. I may have to have yet another go tomorrow. It is actually a really nice orange like this (work in progress pic):

I've been working to try and add in more details to my plushies -- since most of my plushies are one of a kind dolls, I figure I might as well make them the very best, with as many details, as I can. Wink  I used silver metallic thread for her 'zipper' which I loveeeee. And bonus, I even got to use some of those "fancy" stitches on my machine that I never thought I'd use. Cheesy

And while I had both Amy and the Doctor, I knew I had to get a "permission to hug' photo.

Thanks for looking! (And if anyone has any tips on photographing orange, feel free to leave them! Wink)

All we have to decide is what to craft with the time that is given to us.

love to take part in personal swaps, I would love a poppet of my very own, or a doll like the ones made by Poppets & Lace

WOW WOW WOW! I can't believe I haven't seen your work before, these are TOO CUTE!

If you don't mind my asking, how did you make her hair? I've only put yarn hair on dolls before!
