so this is my first stencil EVER!  i used spray mount to hold the stencil down because of the details around the eyes. just acrylic paint on an old tote bag.

its david bowie (i did the eyes differently because he has the one blue and the one brown).  can you tell its him?  if you saw it on the street, would you recognize him? 

thanks for all your inspiration here- you gave me the confidence to try this new art!

lovely stencil, but i do admit to not recognizing him at first.  probably because i expect some wicked wierd makeup or something.  the more bowie in the world, the better!  good work!

hey that's pretty cool!! i really like it and it does look like him!!
he actually has (both) blue eyes but ihe suffered an injury that left one of his pupils permanently dilated.

Wow, I had a white Bowie bag planned for making for the Bowie Swap!!! I'm going to use one of these stencils, not sure which one yet. At freewebs.com.stencilry :Bands :David Bowie. Can't link to it, it's in frames. =)
