I was looking for stuff to do with my kids old easter eggs and decided to try paper mache' , this can be done with toilett paper, paper-towels work great for expressions, paper, cloth etc. I wanted to make something inside but haven't figured out what yet. i made sure to paper mache right up to but not over the egg opening line. paper towel makes things look old, smooth cheap toilett paper would probably do better.

What i did was cut a small peice of copper sheet into a circle and pushed it to make a small hill, then i modge podged it on.
Then i rolled little strips of paper towel to build on the protruding parts of the face. modge podged flat little pieces after.
then painted it! Inspired by teags Paper towel roll madhatter hats!

oh if paper towel rips during sculpting (details are added great by using a small razor blade and pokey objects. pushing a blade tip point into it while it is still wet, before painting, and lifting up, makes great smile lines, dimples, and eye creases are made by pushing more surface area of the blade. When almost dry go over creases that you want for facial features again and use blade edge to smooth out lips and other features. used barbie hair for the heads. Any rips in it make for great zombies! I'm new here so if you like this, honor me with a this rocks!
