My tiny little daughter has started toilet training, and being 20lbs at 2 years old all the commercial panties are too big for her, so I made her some.  I used an Ottobre pattern which was super easy.  The Elmo fabric is quilting cotton, the red is t-shirt fabric.  I edged them in fold-over elastic (the greatest invention ever).  I lined the front and gusset with bamboo fleece to make them slightly absorbent.

so cute! what a good idea, I wish i'd had a pattern for panties when my niece was potty training, i told her for every day she stayed dry i'd get her a new pair of panties and she wanted spongebob panties, but apparently spongebob underwear is only available for boys  so i had to get creative with iron on transfers, i wasn't happy with how they looked but she didn't care so i guess it all worked out.

I was impressed with how easy they were to sew, I figured they'd be much more complicated.
