i've posted this in my tutorial but i thought i'd post again for others to get a chance to see. i had a little trouble with this fabric. anyone have any advice on making it easier on your machine...as far as getting it through without it staying put in the machine. also..any ideas on how to make the zipper lay flat better? the zipper kind of ripples right now.. anyway.. thanks for looking!

this bag is awesome!! as for advice on how to make it easier to sew.. try a teflon (sp??) foot for your machine. they work pretty good for those weird kinda sticky fabrics.  Wink

Hmmm...not sure what you mean when you say staying put in the machine, but if it's bunching or slipping around or something maybe interfacing it could help?  That'll definitely make it easier to manage, hold it in place...or is it a matter for the teflon foot Wink ?  You'll have to decide...

I suggest using tracing paper to keep it from sticking.  That works INCREDIBLY well for me.  I place it on thevinyl surface either under the foot of the machine or on the table of the machine (or both) to keep it from having its way with me.

I have to ask - where did you find that fabric???
