Pretty cards!

kfad - are those hearts stitched on?  If so what a great idea!

They are! I love stitching things where they may not ordinarily go.

And thank you!

I received a great package of cards from alwaysinmyroom today!

Super awesome galaxy cards with hand painted galaxy paper.

Beautiful watercolor cards.

Amazing stitched fabric quilt-y cards.

Thumb print owls with matching envelopes.

AND thumb print PANDAS with matching envelopes!  Eeeep!  So adorable!

Plus some extra pretty extras!

Thank yo so much, Linda!  They are all so wonderful.  I like the techniques you used...and that you included two of each so I can keep some for myself.  Grin  I should have thought of that!  Cheesy  Smart partners!

Thank you to alwaysinmyroom and Scrapkatt for making this a great swap experience!  And thanks, gala_apples, for organizing!  I look forward to another round in the future.

Love those thumbprint cards, especially the pandas! So cute that I don't think I'd ever let them go.

Glad you like them!  I wanted to try out more techniques but I had limited time due to my family situation!  Thanks for being patient with my late sending...this swap was a great lift to my spirit and kept me occupied...I had fun with my two wonderful partners!

Scrapkatt--You should try it!  You can make just about any animal!  Pandas and owls are my favorite, but you can make elephants, cats, dogs, monkeys...whatever suits your fancy!  The only bad part is...getting the ink off your fingers! Cheesy

JenSews has received the cards I sent, but is still feeling a little under the weather so I'm posting the photos for her. She asked for birthday cards, especially for her grandmother who has limited vision, so I used embossing folders to create texture on the paper, pop-up dots to elevate the flowers and some of the lettering, glittered paper for the contrast ribbons, grosgrain and specialty ribbons, and stick on jewels. She also prefers a simple, modern/elegant style so I limited the colors and number of elements I used.

She also asked for thank you cards, so I made these.

And she said she'd like some blank cards, so I made these.

No, I can't count! Actually I just got on a roll and didn't want to stop.

I love all the textures you used kbrison!  And such a pretty colorway...love that whites!

Also, loving the graphic designs...dots and stripes are always welcomed!  Pretty color grouping as well!
