I love the use of multiple types of string. It gives it that extra umph, and makes it just that more nice then a regular one string lamp like this!

I've always wanted to try to make one of these, but figured it just wouldn't work. Seeing just how wonderful yours turned out has really nudged me to actually try it out. I adore the different sized strings, it reminds me of a bird's nest. Awesome job!

I like this idea. I live in an apartment with no ceiling lights and I can't install anything, and I"ve been thinking of a way to hang something in the middle of the ceiling. I'll refer back to this post later to use as inspiration.

Oh wow, this is awesome! I don't have the patience to let things like this dry long enough, so I always end up with a pile of soggy string.  Cheesy This looks wonderful, though. It makes me want to try again and not give in after 30 minutes  Roll Eyes

That is so great! I was thinking about doing that in my living room before our landlord installed nice overhead lights.  I still might do it from a standing lamp, I think!
