I'm currently planning out what I'm going to make, but likely wont start crocheting until Monday-ish.

It is supposed to rain here all weekend so, except for Saturday, I'll be spending my weekend crafting. It will definitely include some cozy time on the couch with hook and yarn! I lead such an exciting life Grin

I started Monday, then went on hold for the week for finals. Now that I'm going to be on summer break, I have dates every evening next week with my DVR and hook! And i vote needlework for your suitcase.

I've definitely started! Grin  I have only 1 more motif for each partner. Cool  So far, I have used all new to me patterns (which is now fueled deep desires to start even more projects!)  I am having a blast...how could I have missed so many rounds of this swap?

I found 2 more colors of purple in the yarn bin in my classroom! But, I may be taking a road trip to Hobby Lobby tomorrow anyway Smiley

I might dig out my newest motif book and whip up something tonight!

Have a great vacation, MareMare!

Today, after a pancake breakfast at school, followed by a visit to the Russian Icon Museum to see a Matroyshka exhibit, I "kidnapped" my friend who was a "soccer widow" for the day, and took a road trip out to Hobby Lobby, where I added 3 more colors of purple yarn to my stash, plus a bunch of other crafty things, too. I think the only thing I bought that I could find somewhere else was a 4" embroidery hoop. All of the other items were classified as, "Oh, I've never seen one of these before- I think I need one!"

So now, since I didn't actually do anything productive last night (besides play with my new iPhone), I am going to really dig out my motif book(s) and use some of my purple yarn! Smiley

Grrrr! I can't find my new motif book (this could be the universe telling me it's time to do a little bit of housecleaning...)! So, I did a bit of Googling and found 5 motifs to make (I bought 2 patterns on Etsy, even... yes, anything to avoid cleaning the house!). And, since they're all new patterns to me, I'm pretty sure I don't have them in my stack of motifs already! Hooray!

I actually do have a bit of housecleaning on my to-do list today, and I'll be doing that soon, and as a reward, I can crochet! Although I tend to be a "life is short, eat dessert first" kind of person, so I may crochet now, clean later Grin

Hey guys quick question about the inches. Like do we lay all the motifs in a square and make sure it is 25x25? Or we measure each motif at its smallest point then add that together to 25? I'm bad when it comes to math so just want to make sure!! Smiley
