I made some walking sticks for a ren faire that I'm going to soon.  All wood.

The four on the left are curly willow and the four on the right are white willow.  The one on the far right is carved.

These look really cool. Do you have any close up shots? My folks live on a beach and they have a ton of driftwood that looks similar. I bet my Dad would find this project inspiring.

No close-ups, but I could take a shot of the ones that are left.  I went to a show this weekend and sold quite a few sticks, but I think I still have some of the curly willow.  Are you looking for finishes, or is there something else that you need to know?

This is the only stick I have left with any carving on it.  This is just a double spiral, but the whole thing was done with just a knife.



I have also done a herringbone pattern, a single spiral and a hollow spiral, but I don't have any of those.  I should have taken pictures. Sad
