So, would you need to stick to the exact pattern of the morsbag, or could it be changed (or thrown out all together) as long as the size is similar to that pattern and still functions as a reusable bag?

You would need to stick pretty closely to the pattern; one of the fun parts of this swap is seeing how differently all the bags look in the gallery, when they start with the same pattern. You could make small adjustments in length, width, or length of the handles; but it should be an unlined bag with french seams.

Sounds good! Questionnaire sent Smiley

I really love these swaps, but I entered a piece of beadwork at the Fair that, well, I haven't actually made yet... Ha ha! I have to have it completed by the 21st of this month... So I will sign up if there are slots on the last day ... If I have a good portion of my piece complete...

Here's to hoping! I have started work... I just have to get a lot done over the next few days!

I received 2 bags last time around and they get used more than anything and seem to fascinate anyone who sees them.

I'm really tempted to join this one, but I'm kinda full up on swaps right now... Maybe if I super craft and clear a few of them out....

Welcome to all who have signed up!  We're up to 15 swappers now, and with a few more days of sign-ups to go, I think this will be a nice medium-sized swap.

I love the morsbags I received in the first swap; I use them mostly to carry things to the post office to mail, and as library bags. Last time, some of the swappers worried that an unlined bag wouldn't be strong enough to carry heavy loads, but I fill mine up with books and they are still going strong!

I'm still hoping to join. I have a practice bag cut out and I WILL CONQUER THE FRENCH seam. But I need to be sure, timing-wise, that I can do this and take a 6-day trip to Boston in the middle of it all to attend my college reunion. I also wanted to start another doll swap...priorities, priorities.

Conquer the French?
Join more than two sewing swaps?
Have a stree-free vacation?

I am a modern woman and I can do all of this, right?
