I'm in love with this fabric and knew it needed to be a skirt!

The fabric was a little see-through so I lined the inside

LOVE the fabric! Where did you find it?? I also think your zipper came out fantastic! For some reason I have trouble lining up the fabric with zippers on some pieces. Super cute!

Thanks! My mom found it at a yard sale I believe. The trick with the zipper on this one is I sewed the back seam all the way up, then put the zipper in and then ripped the back seam where the zipper was put in. It doesn't work for everything, but sometimes it's a handy shortcut Smiley

I'll keep that tip in mind the next time I have a problem. Thanks!

It is really a very nice eyecatching fabric and your skirt has a perfect fit, you look very stylish in it. Very good tip for installing the zipper, I do the same and for me it always works.
