My inspiration for this piece was Ursula from The Little Mermaid.  Saoirse could be her vengeful younger sister.
This was done entirely on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 using Sketchbook Mobile.  I would estimate that this took at least 7 or 8 hours to sketch and paint all the layers.  I can assuredly say no more digital painting practice for me; I've gotten the hang of the app and am now painting seriously. 
This is my new favorite piece.

Thank you SiFi Mom.  The digital brushes and paint do a good job of looking like the real thing.  Even the texture brushes are good too.
