underthemountain, what are you making?

Hi Ghilie!
I'm going to make jewelry...either metal stamped pendants or maybe something customizable that is stamped into metal.  Thoughts?

Book page paintings...those sound interesting! Grin

I am still thinking on my offering(s). Maybe some small fused glass pieces attached to adjustable rings as one option....hmmm you never know.  Wink

hmmmm . . . I've never done this swap, but there are some pretty fabulous things offered up and I might have to jump in.  but what to make?

I make these airbrushed jersey-knit scarves (pretty, not warm)?
or book page paintings?
or sets of rainbow recycled crayons?

or painted/decoupaged boxes?

I have lots of ideas Smiley

Oh, I love your book page paintings!  Painted/decoupaged boxes sound cool as well.

Would anyone mind if I switched to crocheted 4th of July headbands/visors? I just cant fall in love with a hat pattern that works for that hot-as-heck time of the year. But there are some super cute ways to 4th of July-ize a visor/headband. Smiley

Hi Ghilie!

I would like a metal stamped pendant!  (sorry I didn't see your post sooner!)  For one of my class projects, our group had to come up with a logo for a clothing line.  We ended up doing a line of bags, and our "brand name" was NATIVE, but the A was upside down.  So we turned the upside down A into a fox head, and said we would stamp it on metal and sew it to the bags for our logo.  Our group ended up working really well together and we had a nice project at the end and we all wanted one of those logos stamped on metal as a charm.

There is no point to this story other than I think stamped metal is cool.

This is one of the 'Homer Pouches' I'm offering - it's 8.5" x 5", with a zipper closure and fully lined.  I will be making 3 different ones, which I'll post soon.
