Interesting idea for a challenge! I look forward to seeing what people come up with.

That's, uh, pretty open ended there. Nice. I mean, I won't be able to spin a yarn for it but that's not the only craft I can do, ya know? Maybe I'll break away and do something new! NEW!

well what if you cut the yarn and pick a shape?

I had an idea I wanted to make for something for myself, and the timing of this is perfect.  I am almost done my current swaps, so will work on it next week - and hopefully get some work on my garden too.  I love the prize pack offered for this!

So, uhm, shapes.... are we talking only traditional geometric shapes, or are 'fancier' shapes, like chevrons, fleur de lis, etc. count?

Ooohhh... love the examples you provided.  Any shape(s) are acceptable!

Would, say, the shape of a stain on my worktable be acceptable as well?

Not going that route now, but I've done that before and might end up doing something similar...

There is something I'm planning to make for the Summer Nerd Games May Battle Royale (it's a craftalong)... can I enter that or does it have to be something JUST for this challenge?

I don't see a requirement of when the project should be crafted.  Is it valid for something we have already been working on and finish in June?  Should it be something crafted during that week?

Oops!  That bullet point is usually on there.  May 6 - Jun 10 is the crafting period.

Do more of what makes you happy.

Thank you!  I thought I was missing something there.  I will make sure to craft it during that time.   Grin
