Bunny, dinosaurs are definitely a geekdom!  There are many dedicated dinosaur nerds out there in the nerdyverse.  I think you should claim nerdy points!

Both the hoop and the hoodie are really great.  Smiley

Brief Description: This is my absolute favorite childhood book from when I was in elementary school.  It was also the first book I remember reading more than once.  When I saw the Wordy Challenge, I had to do something with this.  And Ive been playing with papercrafts for cards and stuff, so I thought, why not?

Project Geekdom (if any): Steampunk

Brief Description: Ive always wanted to make a fascinator.  After sifting through the tutorials, I found one that made sense to me and of course, everyone needs an octopus on their hats.

lilyla19 - I agree with Ludi, he is still cute!  I have had so many days like that, where I cannot find anything I need, and all of my improvising just makes things worse!

bunny1kenobi - very pretty hoop, and the stenciled hoodie is awesome!  What a fun idea.

ayajj - great shadow box and Spider-Man card!  Your fascinator turned out very pretty, and the little chibis are adorable!

Challenge: August Textbook
Team/Ninja: Of Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Sesame Street
Bonus Points: Engineering, Nerdy
Project Name: Cookie Monster Face
Brief Description: Muppet's became an integral part of Sesame Street. When I was little this was where I saw Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the other Jim Henson Creation.
For this prompt I made a cookie Monster Stencil and used it to put his face on a shirt.

I also created a tutorial for stenciling and screen printing that can be downloaded.
Project Picture:

I also made an Elmo stencil

I also discovered that if I arrange the eyes differently it becomes evil Elmo

Challenge: August Multimedia
Team/Ninja: Of Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Engineering
Bonus Points: Discovery Nerd Engineering
Project Name: Yarn Swift
Brief Description: I decided to use this challenge to create my own Yarn Swift. This involved purchasing items at Hardware store and improvising.
Project Picture:
Supplies

I measured and traced a cross pattern on my wooden circle. This helped me line up the Lazy Susan.

Then hot glue the two yard sticks together in a cross

Now screw them to the lazy susan

Screw the Lazy Susan to base

Now add clamps to hold the yarn
