Oh my! I got SO far behind here! I love, love, love everything but I am just going to start commenting again from the last page to keep my sanity!
pinkleo - I am on a bit of a shrine kick right now and LOVE those shrines. The blue deer one is my fave. Already pinned!
Krafty_Karasu - That cross stitch is insane! It looks like SO much work! And you designed it?!! Awesome!
Eiseldore - I have never seem knitting like that before! It's so cool!
Averia - very pretty hoopla. Makes me want to lay in the sunshine and stop complaining about the summer heat.
FreakieGeekie - I can't wait to see your costume done. You even had me looking into costumes already! It will be awesome!

Challenge/Battle/Alert: June Fandom
Team/Ninja:Team Who Must Not Be Named
Project Geekdom (if any): Harry Potter
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy
Project Name: Tiny Neville Longbottom
Project Page Link (if available):More detailed pics from my swap partner in the OTHPT4 gallery http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=424800.msg5055906#msg5055906
Brief Description: My partner in the OTHPT4 has received so I can post my project here and get some points!  My Neville has lots of details and some that only a truly fanatical fan would understand (see description below)
Project Picture:

Neville is dressed in his Hogwarts uniform which is fully removable (except the shoes which are painted on), he has his toad Trevor, a remembrall in his right hand (its hard to see in these photos) and it is red because he forgot something, a mimbulus mimbletonia which he brought to school with him in Order of Pheonix, Magical Water Plants of the Mediteranean book which was given to him in Goblet of Fire, and a scrapbook with photos of his family and droobles gum wrappers (he puts the one his mom gives him in his pocket at St. Mungo's in Order of the Pheonix) I imagine that he's been saving them for awhile in this scrapbook.

Looking at the thimble next to little Neville, I'm guessing he is REALLY little!  Beautiful work - I love him!

Krafty_Karasu - That cross stitch is insane! It looks like SO much work! And you designed it?!! Awesome!

thanks!  Grin

insane is the right word for it.  Cheesy  and it WAS a ton of work!  I designed it with the help of a video game sprite and a cross stitch pattern maker.

Whew, finally finished my big (little?) project and can post some stuff!  First, an action shot...

My little blood drop squeezies ready to do battle!  The Battle for Blood is an annual friendly competition between the Fire Departments and Police Departments for the Community Blood Center.  All in all I crocheted 26 little squeezies to give away!

Challenge: May Multimedia - Red or Blue?  BLUE!
Team: S&M
Project Geekdom: What's more real life science than blood donation?!
Bonus Points: Nerdy, Super nerdy, Giver (CBC donors)
Project Name: Bob the BlueBlood Drop
Brief Description: When you give blood, they hand you a very impersonal half-rubber ball wrapped in a paper towel to squeeze.  Why not have your own friend to take along and be soft and yarn-y while you donate?

Challenge: May Wordy - Haiku
Team: S&M
Project Geekdom: Monsters
Bonus Points: Nerdy
Project Name: Dragon Zill pouch
Brief Description: Dragons have long been known to hoard/protect valuables, and one of a bellydancer's valuables are their zills!  A zippered pouch at the bottom is just the right size to hold a set of zills (and as a bonus, the weight keeps the little dragon upright!)
Project Picture:

(I have the pattern written up for this, but I haven't had the time to type it up and format it...  le sigh...)

EDIT!  Ooops, forgot his Haiku!

Dragons are clever
But are easily distra-
Ooooh... hey... look... shiny!
