Challenge/Battle/Alert: May Textbook: Prime Numbers
Team/Ninja: Of Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): STAR TREK!
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy Bonus
Project Name: Prime Directive, 3 sided Hairkerchief
Project Page Link (if available):N/A
Brief Description:
In honor of seeing Star Trek: Into Darkness today I present The Prime Directive 3 sided Hairkerchief.
3 is a prime number and the prime number is 3 (wait, that's a different movie altogether!  Wink)

The Starfleet Prime Directive is as follows....
As the right of each sentient being to live in accordance with its normal cultural evolution is considered sacred, no
Starfleet personnel may interfere with the normal and healthy development of an alien life and culture. Such interference
includes introducing superior knowledge, strength, or technology to a world whose society is incapable of handling such
advantages wisely. Starfleet personnel may not violate this Prime Directive, even to save their lives and/or their ships,
unless they are acting to right an earlier violation or an accidental contamination of said culture. This directive takes
precedence over any and all other considerations, and carries with it the highest moral obligation.

Or in a nice summation by Cptn Jean-Luc Picard:
"The Prime Directive is not just a set of rules. It is a philosophy, and a very correct one. History has proven again and again that whenever mankind interferes with a less developed civilization, no matter how well intentioned that interference may be, the results are invariably disastrous."

Hooray to Joanns for getting awesome Trek Fabric!

I think this might be my best bias tape job to date!

Today was a wet rainy day, thank goodness I had this to contain my hair at the theater!

Funny side note: (For the Whovians out there)
I had to sit down directly in front of a lovely older lady (I'll be 39 on Friday so when I say older I mean mid 60's  Wink) and made my blanket apology for my big hair...
She waited a beat and asked if I watch Doctor Who.
I cocked my head to one side and asked "Is it that obvious?" smirk smirk
She then went on to quote from last weeks season finale where the Sontarian asks about "The lady with the big head"
then gets corrected that it's HAIR not HEAD.
I looked at this lady and told her she's wonderful and made my day. River Song (and Merida) has inspired me to embrace my curls and let them do what they will. If the Doctor can appreciate them, that makes strong points with me!

The dolls are amazing. I always image that they take so long. I can't believe you did them so fast!
And that necklace is so neat!
