I'm still working on my WIP: I was nearly done with part of it and the seams ripped **slams head** It won't be finished for May so I've put it aside for now to work on my Scrap Heap project :3

It's a plushie. But I did try hot glue. It didn't work so well.

BUT! I did get to finish my Scrap Heap project! I'm about to post it up Cheesy

The pics aren't that great but I'll take better ones later, if I can track down my digital camera.

Challenge: Randomizer
Team: Control Freaks
Project Geekdom: Videogames
Bonus Points: Lots of adventure games have treasure chests that contain important items for adventurers. But pirates also like treasure chests, as does Indiana Jones. Cheesy
Description: I work at a convenience store and we sell cigars and cigarillos which come in flip-top cardboard boxes. I've brought a few home with the intention of covering them with fabric, or possibly mod-podging them, to turn them into trinket boxes, which is something my grandmother used to do. Being a the geek that I am, I decided that I had to turn one of them into a treasure chest. I know it looks simple but I like the simplicity. The rounded part of the lid was made using a piece of corrugated cardboard from another box from work. I then cut pieces of felt and hot glued them to the box.

I'll post it in its own thread with better pictures later, if I can track down my digital camera.

speakgeekandenter- I love the TARDIS necklace. My Grandma used one of her nightgowns to back my baby blanket and it has held up fine over the years (15+).

elliot anne-love your research idea project. I can't wait to see the final project.

ezri b-that pinwheel clip is so cute, I think I might have to try one for my daughter.

bobbysgirl-zombies bleed green...the bracelets are super cute and I agree with bunny1kneobi that you should make a matching choker

smileyyogini-Kaylee is awesome! You did an amazing job on her and the dress is perfect.

Ludi-that bird is beautiful, your work is wonderful

Everyone is doing such a great job. I hope to be posting my May Battle Royale project this week.

Challenge/Battle/Alert: Textbook: Prime Numbers

Team:  The Team that goes Bump in the Night

Project Geekdom: Math

Bonus Points: Spiderweb fits with Spooky

Project Name:  Spiderweb prime number choker

Brief Description: a choker made with square black beads that progress in prime number sequence (2,3,5,7,11,13) and large silver spacers and a silver spiderweb pendant.  I told a friend it is similar to my personal favorite necklace pattern but "with better math"
Sorry it is not a better picture
