--Quick Request: If possible, put multiple entries into one post. (for example, when you are posting multiple projects at the same time/day.  You don't have to save up projects to post, but if you happen to be posting many at one time, please put them into one post.) This makes tinyurling projects a bit easier for me.  Thank you to all who already do this! Kiss

Challenge/Battle/Alert: June Randomizer - Zombies ate my brains!
Team/Ninja: S&M
Project Geekdom (if any): Firefly!
Bonus Points: Nerdy, and does it count as "Giver" if I offer this up as a prize for the Summer Nerd Games?
Project Name: Jayne Hat
Brief Description: After crocheting blood drops for eons, then working with some super-splity yarn for my heart, knitting up this thick and quick yarn - in almost all stockinette stitch, to boot! - was a breeze.  I didn't even have to LOOK at it while I was knitting!  This is the second Jayne hat I've made, and it's a dead-simple pattern.

Challenge/Battle/Alert: June textbook
Team/Ninja: Of Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Back to the Future
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy
Project Name: Flux Capacitor Drivers Seat Cover
Project Page Link (if available): n/a

Brief Description:
The Flux Capacitor, it's what makes time travel possible.
This guy has broken down the science of BTTF's most famous electrical waves. (I suppose the lightening that struck the clock tower might be more famous BUT STILL!  Wink)
http://webpages.charter.net/dawill/tmoranwms/Elec_FluxCap.html
Every time traveling minivan has one!

Project Picture:
The minivan I drive is the first vehicle with leather seats I've had and WOW, do those seats get hot when basking in the sun's hot UV rays!
I crafted up this huge teesha Moore inspired seat cover to lay on the drivers side seat.

I did some free motion embroidery for the stitching.

It even rolls up nicely for storage!

Challenge/Battle/Alert: June Fandom
Team/Ninja: Of Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Star Wars
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy Bonus
Project Name: Goodnight (that's no) Moon Art Marker Caddy
Project Page Link (if available): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=425349.0#axzz2YEFnyDNI

Brief Description:
At first glance this may seem like it should be a "June Wordy" entry, but look closer!
That's no moon in the window...it's the DEATH STAR!

Project Picture:

Make sure to check out the project page link for the other 3 sides!

So many awesome things! Cheesy
Gozer, I am in LOVE with that purse! <3

Someone wish me luck because we're having some bad luck. The starter in our Blazer died, my uncle loaned us a truck but it needed an inspection sticker; instead it got a rejection sticker, and I've injured my right ankle.

Team/Ninja: Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Star Trek
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy, Nerdy

Challenge/Battle/Alert: July Textbook
Team/Ninja: Ships and Men
Project Geekdom (if any): Firefly
Bonus Points: Super Nerdy, Nerdy, Discovery
Project Name: Night Sky Stitch Markers
Brief Description: In the Firefly universe most of the meals come from Cans. In fact in the sixth episode Shindig Shepard Book  discovers one of the characters has taken the labels off the cans so he says they will have a few mystery meals.
For this prompt I tried my hand at preserving herbs that I could take with me on a journey across the verse.

I made Mediterranean Herbed Honey, Rosemary Vinegar, and Basil Olive Oil.

Challenge: June - Wordy
Team: Nerdy Ladies
Project Geekdom: Books - Famous Five
Bonus Points: Nerdy, and Super Nerdy (For George (Don't ever call me Georgina) Kirrin)
Project Name: George Kirrin
Brief Description: The Famous Five was the first series of books I ever read, I loved their adventures. And of course as a young tomboy myself, George was my favourite character, of course George isn't complete without Timmy close by.
I copied one of Eileen Soper's illustrations from 'Five on Kirrin Island again' and reproduced it (fairly closely) in backstitch. I love the sketchy, raw, quality of her pictures and tried to keep as much of that look as possible.

Lovely embroidery, Roke45, and great stenciling on those shirts, Eiseldora (and I see the stitch marker making bug stuck!).  I feel your pain on the seats, silentblair (at least, the backs of my legs often do... I usually wear skirts and YOW!).

I can't stop laughing at "Goodnight, That's No Moon."  So. Awesome.  Cheesy
