I had so wanted to participate more in June and had a perfect project to do but my mom got quite sick and was in the hospital.  Unfortunately what I wanted to make wouldn't have traveled well Sad  Hopefully I can play along more in July.

Project Page Link: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=425104.0#axzz2XpsfUUQk
Brief Description: I truly cannot believe this thing is finally done. I feel like I need to ice my hands for days, and I have a few new calluses and pin holes as battle wounds.  Cheesy  Since my theme was things I like, I included a lot of super nerdy badgesthe specific TV shows represented are:  Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, Firefly, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Peep Show, Stargate, Star Trek, and Top Gear.  I learned a lot, including a few new stitches, but honestly...NEVER AGAIN!  Thanks for helping me get this done, Nerd Games, and all my nerdy peeps!  Wink  There are more photos in the link if you care to see.

Research Project Proposal

Project Name:  A Very Sunny Cross Stitch

Team/Ninja:  Commercial Free All-Stars

Brief Description:   I will design a pattern based on the TV show Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia.  It will be my first true cross stitch pattern of my own design (using PC Stich Pro), and actually I think it will also be my first xstitch project using an actual pattern (I'm a wing it and see what happens type)!  It is going to be quite large, but exact dimensions will depend on the final design and cloth count.  I know Im crazy jumping into another stitch heavy project, but this has been on my to-do list for too long!  Plus its an excuse to watch the show again while Im working.  Grin

Materials: aida cloth, floss, needles, hoop, pattern software/computer

Timeline: 3 weeksby July 22.
Week 1:  Design pattern and order supplies.  Possibly start stitching.
Week 2:  Stitch.
Week 3:  Stitch, frame, and post!

Miss Lovely - The bag is really cool!Congrats on getting it done. TM stuff looks neat but it also looks so time consuming! I also liked the robot. Such cute wrapping.
ysmeine - The tardis lights are awesome. Great idea!
stephaniegk - Love all the quotes, especially Once Upon A Time, Wonderful font chioces.
craftADDchick - What an accurate shirt. Now I need to make one of birds pecking my eyes out. That's my fear, not the bird - the beak in my eye!
plaidpineapple - Very romantic shirt. The lace detail adds such a feminine and dreamy look.
felicitybaby - Awesome cookbook! I love all the detailing on the inside!
pertty penguin - Lovely necklace. I will have to look fot that short film.
alwaysinmyroom - Perfect mug rug. Love the shape and fabric choice.

Lindyv321 - Hope everything turns out okay. My thoughts will be with you and your mom.
Sorry I didn't comment on anything. I got backed up again so I only went a few pages back so this wouldn't be two pages long. Everything is so inspiring and amazing!

Challenge/Battle/Alert: June fandom
Team/Ninja:Team Mystery
Project Geekdom (if any): Fantasy, Mystery
Bonus Points: Nerdy, super nerdy, discovery
Project Name: Labyrinth TM patch
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: This was my very very first TM patch, made for a swap.  (I made a similar one for my research project, but it doesn't have the writing on it.)  The lettering around the edges can be hard to see (look closely  Wink), it reads, "I move the stars for no one".  And I think being in a maze would be pretty darn mysterious!
