I'm finally declaring a research project

Project Name: Nimuae Knotted Pouch
Team/Ninja: Team S&M
Brief Description: Nimuae on deviant art created a 5 part pictoral tutorial for how she took 98 150 cm pieces of yarn, tied a million or so knots and turned it into a gorgeous patterned pouch. I figure this fits for Math since you have to keep track of 98 individual pieces of yarn and there is calculating involved in keeping to the pattern. I'm a bit nervous about the timeline - i saw a comment on someone who completed it and they said it took them 2-3 hours a day every day for months, but I'm still going to attempt it.

Research Project Proposal

Project Name: Spooky Moon felting

Team:  The Team that goes Bump in the Night

Brief Description: I plan to wet felt a simple scene from raw wool from my own sheep.  I hope to get enough colors of grey and white to create a scene with a moon against a dark sky.  If the grey wool isnt dark enough I might felt on black silk.  Work may include some embroidery.  I may do multiple pieces in order to get the desired result.  Materials:  Wool, maybe silk, embroidery floss  Timeline:  Week 1: Sort, clean and wash wool. Week 2:  Card wool. Week 3:  Felt and detail.

Ive never felted before so this will be a Discovery for me.
