Averia - Neat hoopla. I always think of Wendy's when I see orange, braided pigtails! LOL!
noodle-bug - Cool TM patches. I can't wait to see your final project with them!
Ludi- I LOVE the Cure and have a thing for shrines lately. This one is awesome. Great job!
patty-o-furniture - Cool menu idea! I like that it is so cheerful. And that is an amazing shadowbox. I like the bottles and potions best!

To me, "nerdy" is the best compliment!  Grin

Even more great projects from everyone...

La Chapa - what a cute little elephant!  I love the flower eyes.  Smiley  Your bird house is also very pretty!

pottermouth - that yarn is beautiful.  I would have never thought of dying it with icing gel...what a great idea!

Calabaza - I love your fabric choices for the mug rug!  Lucky swap partner!  Smiley

Averia - I haven't thought about Anne of Green Gables in so long, but it was one of my favorites as a kid.  Your hoop is delightful!

noodle-bug - cool patches!  I love the brain and bow tie!

Ludi - your shrine is so beautiful!  Your projects are really inspiring me!

patty_o_furniture - I love your dinner board.  What a great way to re-purpose an old baking sheet.  And your shadow box is awesome!

So many good projects!  I can hardly keep up just reading!  I do totally covet the ability to make those patches...

I feel I've not been a good team captain, but hopefully things will settle down and I'll get to be around more once the house is put back together.

I HAVE been crafting, but nothing is done.  I really do mean to do a project for every challenge, some will just be a teensy-tiny little-bit late.

I did the pattern for my June Battle, now I just need to make the project.  *whines*  Can't making a cross-stitch pattern be a project in itself?! ;P

Go team S&M, you guys are doing an awesome job!

Challenge: May Randomizer: Scrap Heap
Team/Ninja: Fantasy
Project Geekdom (if any): /
Bonus Points:/
Project Name: Salavaged cards
Brief Description:
While we were clearing out my grandmother's appartment, we found out how much she really did keep: we uncovered three moving boxes of post cards, some dating back as far as 1951! We sorted through all three boxes, pulling out the cards that had foreign stamps, gathering all the blank cards and also putting aside all beautiful cards that were easily salvageable. This last series was then divided over me, my mother and and aunt. I selected only those I really loved, because I don't have a lot of space to store cards, and not enough patience to salvage many of them anyway! I got a larger share of the blank ones.

With a cutter, a glue stick and my stash of unused colored paper, I got to work and reclaimed my new stash of cards for another round of sharing happiness. Don't you just love those (mainly) vintage designs? I sure did!
