alwaysinmyroom, I love the painted galaxy and the whole idea of Doctor quilt!  I can't wait to see it finished!  And yay for geekdom bonus points!  I have a lot of TV projects planned, hopefully I can work them into some of the upcoming challenges.

Abbeeroad, I love the Mario block! What a clever pinata-y idea, without the need for a big stick! Cheesy  Cute and fun!

Eclectic Dreamer, I love your stingray, too!  My s/o was just looking for a better way to clean his monitor, maybe I'll have to add that to my project list, too!  Smiley  I look forward to seeing your stitch markers!

bunny1kenobi, those are awesome hair sticks!  I always use random pens to keep mine up...those are so much more pretty!

Challenge/Battle/Alert: May Battle Royale - Pirates vs. Ninjas (ninja)
Team/Ninja: Team Control Freaks
Project Geekdom (if any): video games
Bonus Points: Nerdy & Super Nerdy
Project Name: Noob Saibot cross stitched picture
Brief Description: I chose to make a cross stitched picture of one of my favorite Mortal Kombat ninjas, Noob Saibot, who happens to have originally been a cross between 2 other Mortal Kombat ninjas (Sub-Zero & Scorpion, also favorites of mine) when he first appeared in the video game Mortal Kombat II.  you can see him in action by clicking here.  wanting to make this forced me to download and install MS Paint XP since the Windows 7 (and above) version sucks.  it doesn't allow you to make patterns like this.  besides, I've been wanting to make cross stitch and square stitch bead patterns again for a while now.  so I'm going to be very busy playing around with MS Paint XP.  Grin  Grin  Grin

Challenge/Battle/Alert: May Battle Royale- Pirates!
Team/Ninja: Team Mystery Lovers
Project Geekdom (if any): Mystery
Bonus Points: Discovery, Nerdy, Nerdy Super Bonus
Project Name: Mini pirate chest
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: (how it fits the requirements, pattern/techniques/recipe used, any fun tips, etc.) What could possibly be more mysterious and intriguing than a dusty old chest?   Grin  This little one is made from wallpaper, popsicle sticks, ribbon and wire.  And glue, lots and lots of glue.  Cheesy  I made the (working) buckles and you wouldn't think it would take as much mental trial and error as it did to figure out how to make them happen...  Roll Eyes  But I got it! Yaay!  And that little bit of knowledge will now come in handy for other miniature projects in the future.

Man, I really need a new camera.... Undecided

Team: Control Freaks
Project Geekdom: Yarniness
Project Name: Purple People Eating Plant Hanger
Brief Description: I crocheted this plant hanger to hold my plant. And it has a haiku with it! Smiley

I crocheted a plant hanger out of a fun purple, single ply, worsted weight wool yarn that I grabbed at a local yarn shop the other day! Smiley Fun trip and this will not only be functional but will remind me of the fun. Smiley

Wow, after a hectic month of moving to Germany and starting a new job, it is great to see so much talent and so many original ideas!

@ smileyyogini:  all of your stuff is amazing, but my absolute favorite is the Kaylee doll.

@ Ludi: I love that heart.  I am a big fan of all things anatomical, and it is so well done.  The immortal bird=super cool as well.

@Ezri: the tornado relief pinwheels are such a nice idea and so cute!

@Bobbysgirl: awesome zombie bracelets.  love it.

@gozer: those ATCs are beautiful.  I have seen your work on other threads and it is stunning!

Very cool stuff, everyone!

Challenge/Battle/Alert: May Randomizer
Team/Ninja: Team Fantasy
Project Geekdom (if any): Fantasy
Bonus Points: Super nerdy
Project Name: Fantasy Kids Shirts
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: My daughter got heaps of hand me down clothes from one of our friends, but they were a bit plain.  On a rainy day last week, I spruced them up using freezer paper stencils.  I cut all the stencils out by hand, which has now inspired me to buy one of those cutting machines Smiley  The shirts are Khaleesi (based on a shirt I saw online) from game of thrones and a "mischief managed" Harry Potter shirt.  I also bleached a shirt so she could have her own Night's Watch shirt, but the bleach ran a bit, and the crow's legs are missing, making him a bit of a floater.  I guess that makes it more mysterious.  Note:  I do not let my 4 year old watch game of thrones (or read the books)  Cheesy
Project Picture:  I am still a noob here and can't upload directly, so here are the links:

alwaysinmyroom - what a beautiful galaxy! I can not wait to see that finished quilt either!
Abbeeroad - Such a fun idea. Now I want to punch a cube.
Eclectic Dreamer - Awesome idea. Now I have to find something so I can make a cute screen cleaner and keep at my desk at work!
bunny1kenobi - Love those sticks. I wish my hair would hold stuff like that. They are very pretty. And I love the pirate chest. Your miniatures rock!
krafty_Karasu - Awesome! That looks like it took a while. Great job!
smileyyogini - Love the color. I kill plants just by looking their way so I am equally impressed with your plant growing skills!
