I'm absolutely in love with the star blanket pattern. And I just got a new order wanting me to put her new baby niece's name, dob, weight, etc in the blanket somehow.

I have NO idea how to do this, I've came up with a couple ideas but I'm not so sure. I was wanting some advice on what some of you guys think I should do.

I'm hoping to still be able to stick with the star pattern but somehow get the wording in there somehow..

I've even thought about iron on things or sew on fabric or something....

Just please help me! The baby's gender was unknown so I didn't get started, but SHE was born today=]

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

=D

I would probably embroider it on the blanket or embroider it onto fabric and then sew it on. That could work with iron on transfers as well. Maybe have the fabric in a small star shape and sew it onto the center?

Yeah, my first thought was embroidery as well. I would pass the yarn into the blanket, rather than all the way out the other side to keep the stitches less visible from the back. Urk, I'm not sure how else to word that, so I hope it makes sense Tongue

You could embroider it, or, I was thinking you could probably find a pattern for some letter and number appliques.
