Hi everyone,

This is a pretty simple project and nothing too impressive, but I am happy with it because it solved 2 problems I had:

1. I had tons and tons of tissue paper and gift bags left over from my baby showers, and
2. I needed a box that would fit under the crib to keep baby stuff in, and I wanted it to be cute.

So I cut the top several inches and the top flaps off a Huggies box to fit under the crib, used wallpaper paste and paper grocery bags to cover the whole box, then put a layer of teal tissue paper on top. When that was dry I cut out some cute animal shapes from one of the gift bags we had and used spray adhesive to decorate the sides of the box with them. (First I attempted to use the wallpaper paste, but the paper from the bag is thick and glossy and the edges curled up.) I am going to put a top coat over the whole thing later to seal it and make it more durable. I would have used Mod Podge or Elmer's and water, but I didn't have any around. The wallpaper paste worked pretty well.
