Hello all!
You've probably seen the thumbnail, and wondered to yourself, "what the heck is that supposed to be?"
Well, let me introduce you to the bearded lobster:

This guy is a gift for a cousin of mine. When my last computer crapped out, he graciously lent me a spare he had. To thank him for being awesome, I'm putting together a package of various crafted things. The item that he specifically requested was a "bearded lobster", and it took me a bit to figure out just how to create one.

I made this by ironing fusible interfacing onto the red fabric, cutting it into a lobster-y shape, and then ironing the other side to the blue fabric. The hat I stitched on, then dabbed some paint and glued on a little felted beard and voila!

I highly recommend the fusible interfacing method. It's a great way to craft out of fabric without sewing.
Thanks for looking!

Whatever happened to the ongoing hoopla swaps?
