I finally finished my Doctor Who Gallifreyan Quilt for my boyfriend's birthday. Took me 3 months and 130 hours from start to finish. http://handmadewardrobe.com/2013/04/28/the-doctor-who-gallifreyan-quilt-is-done/

I am incredibly impressed!  How big is it?  Looks like maybe a lap quilt?  It is gorgeous!  And I can't imagine working on all those little circles!  What did you use to draw the circles on the fabric so they'd stay even with all the handling as you sewed everything on?

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, they mean so much to me Smiley

The quilt is huge, at least a double. I used a white souble pen (which btw, has not dissolved after numerous spraying the a water bottle) to mark out the circles onto the background fabric. I hand basted the thicker circles before machine appliquing them on. Does that make sense?
