This is the correct link: http://demilunes.co/beltanmaypole ... I don't know why the first link went to my doll selling page... :S

...If I minded nosy-ness I wouldn't hold a blog about being a mom! hehe! I will share pictures of our little dance next Wednesday.

Oh nice! I remember the pictures, but I never realized that Wulf wrote a post explaining how he made it!

I received a beautiful package from LA-Fairy today!!!

She painted this awesome fox totem artwork for me!

And this really pretty maypole mobile in my current favorite summery colors! I will try to post a better pic of this later. My batteries need recharged in my camera!

And then she made these two summery hair clips as well!

I will try to upload "action" photos later as well!

Thanks so much Lexy! Such a great package!!

Lexy, it's great to see your paintings again - I've missed them! And the mobile suddenly made me think "How about a maypole for cats?" I don't have a cat to try my idea out on right now, but I think it would work.

And I'm glad to hear the children's maypole is still standing up, MamanT! I'd forgotten about that "making of" posting too.

Happy Walpurgisnacht tonight, and blessed Beltane tomorrow, everyone!

Wulf

The fox is very lovely- and that mobile is a great idea!! It makes me think of another thing Wulf made us once for Litha Tongue

Yes, the maypole is holding strong... I carefully pack it after each Beltane, so it's not laying around.
