Sent today. And I have to confess, Ani, that there is nothing maypole-related, or really even Beltane-related in my package. I didn't realize how utterly un-thematic it was until this week, and it was really too late to do anything about it. I hope you'll forgive me, and you like it anyway. (What I was actually intending to do was completely maypole-centric, but this got in the way and I was powerless to stop it.)

If it's a Wulf package, it's so well worth the wait and the stray from format. You make AMAZING stuff.

I am not worried at all Wulf!  Anything you made will be spectacular Smiley  And Andreann I remember the pictures of Mariann and that maypole! My Maypole themed item is a loose interpretation, more of a feeling and mental thing really.  Oh, and color.   I think you will understand it when you get it though Smiley  It turned out almost exactly as I had planned.

Never before have I been so excited to have had such a spectacular failure in a project before as I am right now.  My first smaller item I had crafted for Wulf turned out nice, until I tried to clear coat it.  Then it turned into a nasty, tacky mess. I learned a valuable lesson on mixing poly stain and spray clear coat.  Also to never to try to sand said tacky mess.   Enter Plan B and WOW!  I suddenly feel like I should plan a "decoy" project from now on so that it will fail and I have to have a Plan B  Cheesy  Anyway, Plan B is going to sit in the sun tomorrow (just to be safe) then will go into the box with the rest and go in the mail Monday.

I think that almost every time something goes wrong - in the end it's inevitably better than the original plan!

I've just got to know, how on Earth was it packed?

Wulf, I bet it will be awesome, weather it contains a maypole or not!
