My sister in law is graduating (again) expanding her nursing degree to her bachelors in nursing, and her mom is throwing her a  party. So, I thought I'd make her a little something with polymer clay, and this is what I came up with.  My husband, ever so thoughtful "insert sarcasm here," tends to be a perfectionist, so anything crafty he tends to point out the little imperfections first without just looking at the item as a whole (he didn't like the layout of the words, I had to place them that way so it would fit on my space--nursing can be hectic...so can my words I say!)....I'm gonna stop asking him what he thinks! Anyway, I didn't realize until after it baked the "n" in  "can" looks like an "r," but oh well.

I think I'm going to make it into a magnet. For those of you who work with polymer clay a  lot, I'm wondering, should I use something to reinforce the back (suggestions please?) before I adhere magnets, and what would be the best adhesive?

Thanks for looking, and advice!

Wow! Congratulations to your sister. I like what you did here. It's very sweet. What does your husband know anyway. Cheesy

Phooey on DH. I think your sis-in-law will know it was made with love, and in my book that counts a lot more than piddly issues with results that aren't quite perfect. I'd challenge him to do it better, if he thinks it's so simple to create something original.
