I plan on using up my some of my huge stash of paper bags to make my notecards Cheesy...how's that for a teaser? Cheesy

That's a great idea!  I think I'll definitely end up sending extra cards with my packages...too many fun things to try.

Got a few ideas going round in my head Smiley do people tend to make the cards themselves or buy blank and decorate? As I was going to do the latter... Can you tell I'm a newbie  Undecided lol

Scrapkatt, it all depends. In the past I've made my own with cardstock, made my own with cardboard (scoring the edge so it folds), bought blank, and bought used from Value Village and decoupaged all over them. Currently I'm on kind of a make upcycled envelopes kick, which means I need to make cards that fit.

Honestly, as long as it's 5x3.75 or bigger, you can do what you want  Smiley

Oops! Wasn't feeling well most of this week, so forgot to post here. Am really looking forward to using some of the techniques that I haven't done for awhile. Most of my recent papercrafting has been pretty boring . . . multiple copies of the same few reading manipulatives. I'm more than ready to get more creative!

I like using card stock as a base but I have also used other things like laminated papers, magazine covers, cardboard, etc.  I think the variety of styles is what appeals to me in these swaps...just get those creative juices flowing and make what you love!

I agree, just use whatever!  I am planning to make some with card stock and will use blanks for others.  I'll also probably recycle some random papers I've saved over time...I'm looking forward to some stash busting  Smiley

My grandma loves to receive handmade cards and this swap should get me back in the swing of making some.  Can't wait!

I tried to juggle likes and wants and out of country shipping as best as I could. Groups are on the front page and I'll be sending the PMs in the next few minutes.  Smiley
