Ooooh, tempting. I love RenFest! But 6 points is a lot, especially when I tend to spend more than three hours on my "smalls". I'll have to think - plus I only have one open swap slot, and I almost signed up for the IYP swap...  Hmmmm....

Aw, come on, you know you want to! I only did the 6 points because I feel like everyone needs a lot of garb in their life. I tend to take forever on my projects too, I know how you feel.

I'm sure no one will mind at all. We all have different levels of experience. I've been going on and off since I was about 7 to our "local" one (about a 2 hour drive) but I tend to just wear whatever I like and not worry about historical accuracy...

I have gone to a few fairs before, which were fun.

In a couple of weeks I'm going to attend an SCA event. This is a new and a bit scary endeavor. I don't know what I'm doing or will need Cheesy

Currently fighting with my sewing machine to make a T tunic for my husband so he has something to wear.

My boyfriend made his own shirt last year (with only a little help from his mom). I was very proud of him!

Oh, and we almost always go pirate weekend to our fest, its everyone's favorite!

Oh! SCA is so much fun! I still have yet to join but I went to an event a while back with my friend's family. I just wore a button up white shirt with a peasant skirt that i bunched in the front with a safety pin and some boots. As long as you try they appreciate the effort, and everyone at those events are always so nice.

I wanna say I'll think about joining this but I know I'm gonna end up doing it. I haven't been to a ren fair in a few years but i'm hoping we'll get a new car in time for me to go to one this year (i don't trust ours to go more than just around town and i think the closest fair is at least half hour away). But even if i don't go to one any time soon, renaissance stuff is just fun any time.

I'll be sending in my questionnaire in the next few days
