Here's a portrait sculpture I finished a couple days ago of race driver Jim Clark.  It's about six inches tall, of Classic Clay.  I sculpted it for my husband to digitally scan, then shrink down in the computer to produce slot car driver figures for 1/43, 1/32 and 1/24 scales.  This is the third driver portrait I've done, the previous were Graham Hill and Denise McCluggage.

GREAT! I love it!
And besides, I learned a little about toy cars - I NEVER gave a thought about how to get the likeness of the drivers into them. Cheesy

This is really well done. Very cool...and a little creepy for me because Jim Clark was my fathers 2nd cousin. It's always strange to hear or see things about him knowing he's a distant relative  Grin

Thanks!  There aren't many realistic driver figures available, which is one reason my husband is working on this project with me.  And he just loves playing with toy cars.  Smiley

That's really interesting, bushbaby.  Did the family talk about him much?  He died at a relatively young age.
