Hello I'm in the process of setting up an Artist and Crafter support group based in Reading/Bracknell/Wokingham. I posted an ad on gumtree (search under Artist support Reading). Basically I was wondering if anyone on craftster would be interested in a monthly meet up perhaps in a cafe in the town centre or a pub in Binfield, where arty crafty types can chat with others about their work, bring things their working on for feedback etc. I'd just really like to meet people with the same interests as me and get of my craft room once in a while too.

I am still undecided on the exact town, Reading seems better as its busier and central but Bracknell is where I live and Wokingham is also close. Time is another thing as if  it was a weekday meet up it wouldn't be till 8pm but I suppose that'll be ok if it was in a pub.....If it was a weekend day it'll have to be Sunday but then the shop hours close early...I have thought about hall hire (that way we could make art too) but I think at the time, it needs to be cheap and cheerful.

So if anyone has any ideas or interest write back, fingers crossed I can set this up in July 2011 Smiley
