I made these glitter heels a while back from an old pair of shoes that I accidentally ruined at a wedding. The straps of the shoes were cracked and peeling (they were cheeeeap shoes - $5.00!) after a night of dancing. I guess I just partied too hard for these shoes to handle. Smiley

Instead of tossing them, I decided to cover the shoes in glitter to give them new life. It was a long, long, long process and it took a lot of coats of a glitter/glue mixture, but it was worth it in the end. Here are some pictures of the process and the finished glitter shoes:
